SANDRA AMARIE
Interdisciplnary artist
I am a multidisciplinary artist, singer, designer, institutional systems strategist and sexological somatic bodywork professional Rooted in the embodied experience of being a queer Black woman, my practice—MovementKultur—is both a methodology and an evolving archive: a way of making sense of the world while actively reshaping it.
My work spans gallery installations, voice and sound performance, immersive UX design, and consulting in diversity, equity, and inclusion. What ties it all together is my commitment to radical clarity: breaking down the systems that gaslight, exclude, and distort—and building new ones grounded in care, presence, and truth.
I use my own story as a site of inquiry and resistance. Whether through digital platforms, ritual performance, or conceptual art, I create experiences that ask: Whose voice is heard? Whose pain is profitable? Whose truth gets erased? My work doesn’t just invite audiences to witness—it invites them to confront, to feel, and to move.
I don’t separate activism from art, or design from liberation. Everything I build—whether in code, community, or choreography—is in service of dismantling systems that were never made for us, and imagining what comes after.
